PROJECT DEVASTATION WAGON

This 1964 Chevelle two door wagon will enjoy updated styling and all the performance, economy, comforts and safety of a modern muscle car. Schwartz Extreme Performance will be handling the "Pro-Touring" aspects of the build. Schwartz Extreme Performance, founded by Ex Pro Road Racer and accomplished machinist Jeff Schwartz, has a history of building custom cars with extensive track records of media coverage. Multiple award winners such as "Y Gen 3rd Gen" (1982 Trans Am), "Poison Dart" (1970 Dodge), "10 Second Street Alien" (Ultima GTR), and "Cadillac Attack" (1982 Fleetwood) have appeared in numerous automotive magazines, television shows and national automotive events. These multiple national show winners continue to draw crowds wherever they appear. Now his team will turn their attention to designing a chassis and powertrain for the Chevelle that will be equally at home on the street or blasting around at the racetrack.

Erin Ruddy of Professional Automotive Engineering will be overseeing the interior fabrication. His expertise in interior layout and custom fabrication has garnered several of his projects "Best of Show" awards at such prestiges shows as SEMA, ISCA and numerous hot rod shows. Scott Daughtery and his Aire5150 team will be applying the custom paint and graphics.

Portions of the buildup will be chronicled on Dish Network's Men's Channel V8tv with Kevin Oeste. Steve Anderson, of Buckaroo Communications, will feature the buildup in Chevy Rumble & Super Rod magazines. Other planned events include the Power Tour (tentative completion goal), World of Wheels, Goodguys and SEMA.
