History Jim Sherman has always had a love for sixties era muscle cars and it was out of this passion that Sherman & Associates was born. As it became more and more difficult to find NOS factory or used parts that met Jim's high standards as a serious restorer, he decided that the only way to get what he wanted was to have them made himself. The rest, as they say, is history. It didn't take long for professionals and other serious hobbyists to discover that Sherman's reproduction parts were the right answer to their needs. As word spread through the professional and enthusiast communities a new business was born.
Today, some 26 years later, Sherman's garage has grown into Sherman & Associates 110,000-square foot warehouse filled with more than 30,000 different reproduction parts dating as far back as 1949 and stretching forward to include 2008 models for vintage, domestic, and import cars and trucks.
The Sherman Difference You don't stay in business for more than 26 years selling parts to professional restorers and enthusiasts unless your parts consistently meet their needs and expectations. And that goes in spades for professional body shops.
What makes Sherman parts different is attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to deliver the kind of solid value we demand from parts we use in our own projects. That's why Sherman parts are all engineered to provide an easy fit and finish and then manufactured by experienced automotive stampers, many of whom also supply OEM parts.
Today, Sherman stocks a broad selection of fenders, quarter panels, and head and tail lamp assemblies, plus thousands of spot repair patch panels. Sherman also is one of the few non-OEM sources for hard-to-find structural sheet-metal parts like floor supports, wheel houses and rocker panels.
And that's not all. Our reputation for quality and value has led to customer requests for radiators, heaters, condensers, running boards, step-bumpers, header panels, air conditioning components, gas tanks and sending units, wheels, wiper arms, door handles, driveline components, flex plates, flywheels, harmonic balancers, manifolds, power window regulators, steering columns, and a host of accessories -- all of which we now stock.
World Class Customer Support It starts with our people, more than 60 of them, who are trained to help you select the right parts and panels and supported by a computerized inventory control and tracking system to ensure you get what you need quickly and efficiently. Our parts are housed in a 110,000 square foot warehouse in Washington, Michigan from which they are shipped daily to customers all over the world, and delivered to bodyshops throughout Michigan and northern Ohio by our fleet of 30 delivery vehicles.
The warehouse is scheduled for a major expansion to house the ever-growing list of Sherman parts, and ensure that our promise of next day, 24-hour shipping is always kept. Also check back periodically for the opening of additional locations.
